How can I differentiate between the varying qualities of aluminium?
The proof of premium quality aluminium is in the surface finish. Good quality aluminium should have a perfect smooth and consistent finish, while poor quality may have pitting from when the door/window has been heated during powder coating. All of the frames should have a completely smooth surface with a uniform powder coated finish.
Can you quote off my architects plans?
Sure, bring them in. We’d be glad to help. We also generate quotes from window / door schedules given or emailed to us.
Do you require a deposit on orders?
Yes, for projects which require manufacture and installation we require a deposit of 50% of the total amount upon acceptance of the quote, 40% upon delivery to your premises, and the final 10% upon completing the installation. For ‘supply only’ jobs, not requiring installation, we require full payment upon acceptance of the quotation before we can commence manufacture.
What products should I clean my doors & window frames with?
Use a light, soapy solution (washing up liquid is not recommended) and non-abrasive cloth to wipe dirt from the doors/window frames. Avoid using an abrasive cloth such as a scouring pad as the doors can be scratched. Do not use solvent based cleaning products.
